POLICE are this afternoon investigating the remains of a 'body' found in a garage believed to have been set of fire deliberately.
The grisly find was identified by firefighters when they went to tackle a blaze at block of garages on Broom Lane, Broom, at around 9.30am yesterday.
Detectives cordoned off the area and this morning a forensic anthropologist was examining the remains to establish whether or not they are human.

Hide AdA spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Police said that officers were treating the cause of the fire as suspicious.
She added: “We can confirm that we have found what appears to be some remains but at this stage we are not sure whether those are human or not.”
