Power cuts and flooding as storm move in
DOZENS of homes have been left without power as torrential rain and thunderstorms hit Rotherham.
Northern Powergrid said 56 customers were without power in the Kimberworth area as of 5pm on Monday.
A spokesman said engineers hope to have power restored by 7.30pm.
There are also reports of flooding on Aldwarke Lane, near The Station hotel.
