Man in court over attempted burglary
A 42-year-old man is due to appear at Rotherham Magistrates’ Court today charged with attempted burglary.
Paul Rodgers, from Leicester Road, Dinnington, is accused of trying to break into a general store at Lordens Hill, Dinnington, around 10pm yesterday.
South Yorkshire Police launched Operation Lockdown in October to combat burglary and vehicle crime.
More than 700 suspects have so far been arrested.
