Man denies any part in Herringthorpe mum death

A MAN questioned but never charged after an incident in which his partner suffered a fatal brain injury has denied playing any part in her death.

Karl Kellerman was asked by a coroner if he had taken any action which caused Herringthorpe mum Dawn Jarvis (47) to fall and suffered a head injury but insisted: “Absolutely not”.

Mr Kellerman’s daughter Sonia Kellerman — who called her dad “physically violent” — said he had called her and said: “She’s dead. I’ve killed her,” but later added: “She slipped. I didn’t touch her.”

The Assistant Doncaster Coroner recorded an open verdict on Ms Jarvis, who died after spending six months in hospital following a brain haemorrhage.
