Date set for Wath murder trial
TWO men will stand trial for the murder of Wath doorstep shooting victim Tyron Woodhead next month.
Nathan Wingfield, (22), of no fixed address, and Stephen Rodger, (29), from Thurnscoe, pleaded not guilty at an earlier hearing at Sheffield Crown Court to charges of murder and robbery.
Mr Woodhead (42) was shot once in the upper body after answering a knock at the door at his Doncaster Road home in Wath on September 20. He died on October 24.
Wingfield and Rodger will stand trial for murder at Sheffield Crown Court on March 11.
