She told police when interviewed last year that on the day they met, he drove her to a car park at the Hoober Stand folly near Wentworth and had sex with her, after he had asked her to take drugs to his brother in prison.

"Bash" would go on to supply her with ecstasy “lots of times” when she was just 16, she said, and once violently assaulted her in Rotherham town centre.

The witness, now a 30-year-old woman, told officers she did not press charges because Bash said his family would “go mad” if she did.

She added: “He would spit in my face and things. He called me ‘white trash’ and tell me I was his, no-one else would want me.

“I was scared not to do what he said, because I didn’t want another hiding.

Both men deny all of the charges against them. The trial continues.
