Advanced Manufacturing Park belongs to Rotherham says councillor
A FURIOUS councillor blasted claims that the Advanced Manufacturing Park was a South Yorkshire or Sheffield facility rather than a Rotherham one.
Cllr John Turner said he was dismayed after seeing coverage of an event at the park near Catcliffe which had called it a South Yorkshire and Sheffield-based facility.
He told Wednesday’s full council meeting on Wednesday (Sept 13): “This is Rotherham’s manufacturing park.

Hide Ad“I seriously resent Sheffield’s attempt and also South Yorkshire’s to snatch the title.
“We should establish a precedent that in future the Advanced Manufacturing Park should be known as Rotherham Manufacturing Park.”
