Police stumped by mystery body

POLICE are appealing for information to trace the last steps of a man found dead under a viaduct in Conisbrough last month.

The body of a 62-year-old-man was found on Saturday March 3 at around 7.30am underneath a viaduct that runs between Cadeby and Conisbrough.

He was last seen the day before at about 1.30pm.

Police do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death, but his whereabouts between those times are unknown.

The man is described as 6ft 2in tall with greying short hair. He was wearing dark blue, denim jeans, a blue or grey coloured jacket and black trainers, and may have been wearing rimless glasses.

Anyone who believes they may have seen the man, or may have had contact with him from Friday March 2 at 1.30pm are urged to come forward.
