Police search for Rotherham burglar

POLICE are asking for the public’s help as they attempt to trace the whereabouts of a Rotherham burglar.

Officers want anyone with information that might lead them to locate Shane Delaney (pictured) to come forward.

Delaney is wanted on a recall to prison for a breach of his licence.

A police spokeswoman said: “He was released from prison on licence last year after serving a sentence for burglary, however he breached the conditions of his licence and is now wanted by police on a recall to prison.

“Shane is approximately 5ft 9ins tall and of a medium build with short dark brown hair. He has connections in Maltby as well as in the Neepsend area of Sheffield.”

Anyone with information should contact police on 101, quoting incident number 297 of March 11.
