Police persuade threats man to give himself up
POLICE were called to a house in Wombwell yesterday after being alerted that a man was making threats to harm himself.
Officers went to the address in Kingsway after the reports at about 1pm.
A spokesman said: “Police successfully negotiated the safe detention of the 33-year-old man, who was taken to a place of safety for medical assessment.”
