Police close road to investigate domestic incident

A RESIDENTIAL road has been closed after police found a 38 year-old man with serious injuries in the street.

A spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Police said they were called to the address on Haywood Close in East Herringthorpe at 11.45am this morning.

She added it was a domestic related incident and were alerted to the home by the man’s partner, but when officers arrived the man was in the street.

The man had various injuries to his body, and no one has been arrested in connection with the incident.

Haywood Close and Ridgeway between Beckwith Road and Lockwood Road have been closed while police carry out inquiries.
