Police appeal after two men injured in Kimberworth collision

POLICE are appealing for help from witnesses after an early morning collision which left a man with serious head injuries.

Officers are investigating following reports that two men were injured in the collision in Kimberworth in the early hours of Saturday morning.

At about 12.50am, it was reported that a man – believed to be in his 20s – was hit by a car in Deepdale Road.

The man suffered serious head injuries as a result of the incident and was taken to hospital. He was expected to be released on Monday.

A second man is also thought to have suffered minor injuries as a result of the incident. 

Deepdale Road was closed while officers investigated.

Detectives are urging any witnesses to get in touch by calling 101 quoting incident number 42 of February 13.
