PICTURES: A level results from around Rotherham

PUPILS from Thomas Rotherham College, Maltby Academy and Wath Comp celebrated A-Level success today.

At Maltby Academy, Thomas Wright was top of the class with an A* in maths and As in economics, physics and geography, while Callum Hattersley secured As in physics and further maths and an A* in maths and Kelly Linacre and Jessica Winn were celebrating Triple BTECs in Health and Social Care.

Wath Comprehensive School was full of pupils with a clutch of As or better.

Among them were Chad Parkinson (three A*s and two As), Alysha Careless (two A*s and two As), Hannah Cooke (three A*s and one A) and Charlotte Eames (two A*s and one A), Alex Pavlovic (two A*s and one A) and Adam Stott (two A*s and two As).

Suki Lee (18), of Parkgate, got onto her chosen micro biology course at Leeds University with two As and a B. She said: “I’m really looking forward to university. not just the studying, the whole lifestyle. I can’t wait.”
