SWINTON Community School students were declared 100 per cent successful with a huge 1.9 per cent improvement in their pass rate.

The perfect pass rate was one of three achieved across the borough, with Maltby and Dinnington also enjoying big increases to reach the milestone.

One of the top students was Molly Huddleston, who bagged one A* and three As.

Headteacher John Morrison said: "The students’ results this year are the best ever.

"We couldn’t be more pleased for or proud of our students.

"The number of students achieving the highest grades of A* to B is appreciably higher than national average at 54 per cent.

"It’s been an emotional morning with tears of joy and so many students reaping the rewards of their hard work with top grades securing their first choice university destinations. We wish them all the best for their futures."
