PHOTO GALLERY: Hundreds gather for Rotherham Remembrance events

THE Mayor of Rotherham led the town in paying tribute to the fallen as Rotherham marked Remembrance Sunday.

Cllr Maggi Clark headed the civic party in a parade through town as part of commemmorations which included services at Rotherham Minster and Clifton Park, where two minutes’ silence was observed at the war memorial.

Services were also held at memorials around the borough.

The town centre is expected to fall silent again this morning as a minute's silence will be held in All Saints Square at 11am to mark Armistice Day.
