Respect's Yvonne Ridley hits out over Labour's by-election 'jokes'
RESPECT candidate Yvonne Ridley has hit out at what she claims are “outrageous” comments by Labour canvassers.
Remarks on Twitter by Labour supporters were published on the Rotherham Politics website. They include “jokes” about the north and the Rotherham sex grooming scandal.
“I think it’s outrageous that Labour canvassers are making fun of the north and northerners and even joking about the grooming scandal,” Ms Ridley said.
