'Free MP' candidate calls for 'inspiring' change at Rotherham polls

ROTHERHAM electors will leave the polling booths ‘inspired’ tomorrow if they vote for change, according to ‘free MP’ candidate Paul Dickson.

Mr Dickson, who comes from Northumberland and who is offering to give away his first year’s MP salary if elected, says the major parties are failing and change is needed.

In a last-minute message to voters, Mr Dickson said: “Do not treat this polling day as another dog day afternoon.

“Do not wearily trudge down to the polling station and put your 'X' in the same box as always just because that's what you've always done for the last 10, 20, or 30 years.

“All the major parties are failing the working and middle class people of this country.

“We complain about it to our wives, husbands, friends and work colleagues, but when it comes to polling day we fail to act!

“If you want change then you need to change your vote… and if you do, you will walk away from the polling box inspired and invigorated”.
