Could you be Radio Nightingale's next DJ?
Radio Nightingale, the radio service for the patients of the Rotherham General Hospital, has been on air for almost 33 years and is marking the national celebration of Hospital Broadcasting Week, which runs until Sunday, by throwing open the doors for new volunteers.
Radio Nightingale broadcasts 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for the patients and staff of Rotherham General Hospital.

Hide AdA spokesman said: “The aim of the station is to help the patients feel a little better each day through broadcasts, but only a small part of Radio Nightingale’s work is about presenting programmes.
“Keeping the station running takes a lot of work and volunteers are needed to help with a range of jobs.
“This includes ward visiting and request collecting, fund-raising activities and administrative duties, as well as operating the studio equipment and presenting programmes.”
Volunteers need to be over 18 but do not need any technical expertise or previous experience.
