ROTHERHAM Hospice is inviting supporters to use their New Year’s resolution to raise valuable cash for the charity.

The Champion Challenge is a new campaign for anyone looking to begin 2013 by making a fresh start.

Those taking part will give up something for January and donate the money they would normally have spent to the hospice.

The challenge is open to anyone and a prize is on offer for the supporter who raises the most money.

Businesses can also set up a staff challenge with colleagues competing in aid of the hospice.

Events and community fund-raiser Anna Gott said: “We are very excited to be launching this new campaign and are hoping people really get on board with the challenge and are inspired to help raise those vital funds.”
