Biggest and best lights display raises funds for hospice

A DAZZLING display of Christmas lights outside a family home is once again helping to raise festive funds for Rotherham Hospice

The decorations outside Darren Limb and Natalie Price’s property on Grange Lane have become a winter tradition in Maltby.

The Grinch, a classic phone box and the Coca-Cola truck are among the scores of illuminated items creating a colourful Christmas vista.

Anne-Marie Parkin, marketing manager at the hospice, said: “Last year, they raised over £4,000, helping the hospice support our local community.

“This year’s display is bigger and better than ever, bringing some Christmas cheer and wonder to children and grown-ups alike.”

There was a large turnout for the lights switch-on last Saturday (26).

Tomorrow (2) from 4pm to 7pm there will be a reindeer visit, followed by Santa’s meet and greet next Friday and little donkeys on December 16, both also from 4pm to 7pm.
