New jobs promised as companies team up

TWO rival companies have joined forces to create a new business potentailly providing 15 new jobs after winning financial backing from bankers.

Darren Baker of JB Doors, Rotherham and Jeremy Baker of The Garage Door Company, Sheffield, have set their retail business competition aside to create a new jointly-owned manufacturer, Alluguard.

Dinnington-based Alluguard has been granted start-up funding from Yorkshire Bank as part of its Investing for Growth initiative.
