New home for Kimberworth property ladder couple
A COUPLE who were forced to use a ten foot ladder to climb in and out of their flat have been given a new home just in time for Christmas.
Nathan Bentley and Vicki Favell, of Kimberworth, thought that it was a dream come true when they were offered their first home together.

This week Christmas came early for Nathan and Vicki who have been rehoused thanks to a helping hand from The Rotherham Bond Guarantee Scheme Limited (Robond) and Rotherlets.
Vicki said: “We are so pleased to have got rid of the ladder and to be in a new home which is cleaner and much better.
“Now we can enjoy a normal life and not have to pass our groceries through the window from a ladder.

“Especially as it’s nearly Christmas, we can get settled in now and hopefully have no more problems.”
A spokeswoman for Rotherlets said: “Robond referred these tenants to us, as they were keen to help them be rehoused.
“We found a suitable property at Kimberworth which we let them view, and which they really liked and applied for.
