Midnight Walk Slimmers aiming to raise money for Rotherham Hospice

A GROUP of Mexborough slimmers are urging others to join them by signing up for Rotherham Hospice's annual Midnight Walk event.

A GROUP of Mexborough slimmers are urging others to join them by signing up for Rotherham Hospice's annual Midnight Walk event on Saturday.

The group, from Slimming World in Mexborough, want people to sign up for the five or 10-mile fundraiser.

Last year’s walk raised more than £33,000 for the hospice, which supports people with a terminal disease in Rotherham. The optional theme this time is 1970s fancy dress.

All walkers receive a free T-shirt, Pukka Pie, commemorative medal and certificate.
