Manor aim for GP3 success

MANOR Racing are aiming for another successful season in the a top development series and team boss John Booth believes the Dinnington team can mix it with the best.

With the main Virgin team concentrating their efforts in the Grands Prix, Dinnington outfit Manor kept the white rose flag flying in last season’s GP3 series, fighting hard for top three finishes throughout the season.

They chalked up an impressive result of eight podium finishes and the new season promises to be another strong battle. Rio Haryanto and Adrian Quaife-Hobbs will be at the wheel of a Dallara GP3 for their second season and Finland’s Matias Laine will join the team for his debut in the category after competing in Formula Renault 2 and the Formula Three Euroseries.

Said Team principal John Booth: “It’s going to be another interesting season in GP3.

“2011 looks promising and I’m sure we can be up there with the top teams."

The series starts in Istanbul on May 8.
