Man wanted after failing to attend court

A 29 year-old man accused of assaulting a woman is wanted by South Yorkshire Police for failing to attend at court.

Trevor Christopher Miller, from Rotherham, was due to appear at Rotherham Magistrates’ Court on March 3 after being charged with assault.

This is in relation to an incident in January, when Miller allegedly assaulted a woman known to him while she was walking in Dinnington.

South Yorkshire Police said it has conducted extensive enquiries to try and locate Miller, but officers are now asking for the public's help.

Miller is described as being 6ft 2ins tall, with short brown hair.

He has a tattoo of the name ‘Natasha’ on his right arm and a distinctive birthmark on the back of his left hand.

Miller is believed to frequent the Kiveton and Dinnington areas.

Anyone who believes they may have seen Miller or knows his location is asked to contact South Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting crime reference number C/6289/2014.
