Man in court over aggravated burglaries
A MAN has been charged with a number of aggravated burglaries in the Wath, Swinton and Rawmarsh areas.
Billy Metcalfe (32), of Midland Road, Swinton, appeared before Rotherham Magistrates’ Court on Monday charged with five counts of aggravated burglary and one count of burglary.
The charges relate to six burglaries reported to police from Wath, Swinton and Rawmarsh over the last three weeks.
Metcalfe will appear at Sheffield Crown Court on April 13.
