Man (50) assaulted at bus stop

A MAN was left with a fractured eye socket after being attacked at a bus stop.

The 50-year-old was assaulted in Thurnscoe Bridge Lane, Thurnscoe, at around 8.10pm on Saturday, August 20 after leaving a party at around 8pm.

The man has no memory of what happened but he suffered a fractured eye socket and fractures to his head.

Police believe he may have been assaulted and officers would like to speak to witnesses or anyone with information.
