FIREFIGHTERS were called on to help free a woman in her thirties from her car after a collision at the junction of two rural roads.

The crew from Maltby Fire Station attended the junction of Moor Lane and Hellaby Lane, Ravenfield, at around 6.15pm last night after the incident, which involved two vehicles.

"We were called to assist the police in lifting one of the women from her car," said one firefighter.

"One of the two motorists said that she felt fine but the other was complaining of neck pain."
