Make a date with comedy legend Joan

ECCENTRIC comedy legend Joan Rivers comes to South Yorkshire later this year to launch her new biopic at the region’s top film festival.

On November 3, the 17th Sheffield Doc/Fest opens with the UK premiere of Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work, with a special screening at the Showroom in Sheffield attended by Joan Rivers and award-winning filmmakers Ricki Stern and Annie Sundberg.

Heather Croall, director of the festival, said: “As soon as I got word from Sundance about this film, I knew it could make the perfect opening event for Doc/Fest.

“When I saw it at Tribeca I knew we had to have it.
