Now in its third year, dance group ICE will headline the event which will also feature representatives from the Ministry of Food, Rotherham United and Oaks Daycare Centre.

There will also be a charity auction of artwork.

The event, which is organised by Rotherham Borough Council, attracted more than 6,000 visitors last year.

A council spokesman said: “Fairs Fayre is an event that brings together people from across the borough to highlight the very best that Rotherham has to offer.

“The mix has attracted national attention and several award nominations.

“It’s a terrific free day out for everyone during half term and we think that the mix this time will bring along even more people than last year.

“To get ICE along is a real coup and we know there will be lots of interest on the day.”
