A RETIRED teacher who began writing stories to stir his grandson’s interest in reading has launched his new tale.

A RETIRED Rotherham  teacher who began writing stories to stir his grandson’s interest in reading has launched his new tale.

Neil Whyke’s Bring It On is a fantasy story combining magic, wizards and a wicked sorceress — in modern-day South Yorkshire.

Neil (64), of Broom Road, is also the author of the sci-fi series Doome and Ey Up Adolf, about a Rotherham couple’s lives during the Second World War.
