The consultation focussed on the design of a new play area for under-12s off Meadow Street, Laughton Common, next to the existing multi-use games area.

Other proposed improvements included new welcome signs, improved public seating at the junction of Rotherham Road and Station Road and selective footpath reinstatement works.

Plans for landscaping the area were also on view for residents to add their comments and ideas.

After approval by the community, it is hoped that all the works will completed by the end of March 2011.
