Kimberworth property fire
FIREFIGHTERS from Rotherham found an empty property on fire after being called to South Street, Kimberworth on Friday morning.
The alarm was raised at 5.20am and crews arrived to find the living room ablaze. Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets to put the fire out. No one was in at the time. The rest of the house was smoke logged.
An investigation found the fire had been started deliberately, probably in a sofa in the living room.
