Kids’ charity head charged with new child sexual abuse charge
POLICE have charged a 58-year-old woman with conspiracy to rape as part of the ongoing Operation Clover child sexual exploitation investigation.
Karen MacGregor (pictured), of Barnsley Road, Wath, has already been charged earlier this month with one count of conspiracy to rape, conspiring to procure a child to become a common prostitute and unlawful imprisonment.
The latest offence is alleged to have taken place between 1987 and 1989.
MacGregor, head of the Swinton-based Kinkids charity, is due to appear at Sheffield Crown Court on September 7.
