Kebab shop set on fire in early morning attack

A KEBAB shop was targeted by arsonists in the early hours of the morning.

 

South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue was called to the incident on Fitzwilliam Road, Eastwood at 1.20am this morning (May 26).

The fire was started in the entrance way to the takeaway and spread to the inside.

The shop was closed at the time of the blaze and no one was inside the building.

Two engines from Rotherham and Darnall station dealt with the deliberate blaze and left the scene at 3am.
