James Toseland and Katie Melua set to wed

FORMER World Superbike champion James Toseland has demonstrated that he is wheelie in love with long-term squeeze Katie Melua—by proposing.

And the 31-year-old Kiveton Park-born speed merchant revealed via his Facebook page that the “Closest Thing To Crazy” singer had accepted.

He wrote on his Facebook page: “Hey everyone, I’ve got some happy news to share with you. I asked Katie to marry me and she said Yes! As you can imagine, I am a very happy man right now.”

The pair have been dating since they met following Melua’s concert at Sheffield City Hall in April last year.
