There will be two winning jokes, one from a Bupa care home resident and one from a member of the community.

The winners of Bupa’s ‘It's a cracker’ competition will each receive a special prize, with the community member winning £100 of High Street vouchers.

Siobhan added: “Staff and residents have had a great time so far, planning their festivities and trying out jokes on each other. “Now we need favourite jokes from the local community as well to make this competition go off with a bang.”

Residents in over 300 care homes across the UK will be pulling crackers throughout the month of December, with care homes hosting Christmas fairs, parties, dinners and carol singing concerts.
