As we are about to step into 2011, The Owlerton Stadium in Sheffield will be presenting New Years Eve with a twist.

On December 29, ‘Nearly New Years Eve’ will be a new night to remember.

People of all ages are welcome to join as we race into the New Year with a bang. Research has shown that many of you prefer to stay at home on NYE, or have to choose either family or friends to enjoy the night with.

The Owlerton Stadium are giving you the opportunity to celebrate NYE a night earlier so you can party with both for the great occasion.

John Gilburn, managing director at Owlerton Greyhound Stadium said: “We are really excited about Nearly New Years Eve.

“It will be a lot of fun and it will give the public a chance to enjoy this special time with the people they can’t necessarily be with on New Year’s Eve.

“This night is open for all ages and with reasonable priced drinks it is much better for family and friends who can not afford to go out, or have to stay in with the children.

“We look forward to seeing everybody there.”
