Grants available to help animal homes

A CHARITY which gives out grants to animal rehoming organisations is urging people to get in touch quickly for a share of its funding.

Support Adoption For Pets has £10,000 grants available for animal rehoming centres to fund renovation projects.

Organisations have until April 27 to apply for a grant. 

On the same day, grant applications will also close for the sponsoring of a kennel or cattery worth £3,500 and its van applications for organisations needing new transport.

Amy Wilson, charity manager at Support Adoption For Pets, said: “The deadline for our first three awards is fast approaching, so we are appealing for charities to get their applications in for consideration before April 27.”
