Golf club tragedy victim named

A talented young golfer found hanging at a Rotherham golf club has been named as green keeper Danny Cavill.

Danny (21) worked at Sitwell park Golf Club where his body was found in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Danny, known as Cav, had been on a night out with friends.

He lived with his parents in Brinsworth and was a former pupil of Brinsworth Comprehensive.

His funeral will take place next Thursday at 4pm at Rotherham Crematorium followed by a get-together at his local the Three Magpies at Brinsworth.
