Girls can fly thanks to Rotherham cadets

GIRLS can learn how to fly a plane, scuba dive and learn leadership skills as part of a female-only air cadets group.

And the Rotherham branch of the Girls Venture Corps Air Cadets (GVCAC) will hold an open evening tonight from 7pm until 8.30pm.

It will be held at the TA Centre, Fitzwilliam Road, Eastwood, and girls and women aged 11 to 18 are invited.
