Gary keeping it country for Bluebell Wood

Gary Perkins will play at the Red Lion, Todwick, on November 23, following last year’s sell-out gig in Dinnington.

Gary (50), who got his first guitar when he was eight, has been a professional musician since 1991 and twice won best British male solo artist at the Country Music Awards.

He said: “It’s really good to support such a worthy local cause and I’m really looking forward to the evening.”

Charity chief executive Sarah Champion said: “This sounds like a great evening of entertainment and we’d like to thank Gary for his continued support.”
