GALLERY: Rotherham blanketed by 2016's first snow
ROTHERHAM was blanketed with the first snow of the year at the weekend — but there’s little chance of a repeat in the coming days.
A covering of the white stuff fell across the borough on Saturday, but had generally melted by the following evening.
The Met Office said cold dry weather would continue until tomorrow but things would warm up towards the weekend, with a wet Friday bringing a high of 9 deg C and a cloudy Sunday seeing the mercury reaching 11 deg C.
