Former Bramley pub will become shops and offices

AEON Financial Services was granted permission to knock down the Master Brewer pub in Bramley, which closed three years ago.

But a proposal by HML Developments to construct six flats at the site of the Royal George pub in Kimberworth has been refused.

Rotherham Borough Council said the three-storey building, on Pitt Street, would have failed to improve the character of the area.
