Fire crews called to shop in Thurnscoe
FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a reported shop fire in Thurnscoe early yesterday morning (Sunday).
Crews from Adwick and Edlington attended Windsor Convenience Store, Windsor Street, shortly after 4.30am.
A fire service spokesman said the ground floor was full of smoke but there was no fire. The incident was caused by a fault in an electrical unit.
