Fatal flat fire “deliberate but not suspicious”
A FLAT fire in which a man died was “deliberate but not suspicious”, the fire service said.
Nigel Chatterton (50) died in a fire at his second-floor flat on St Lawrence Road, Tinsley, which was reported at 10.55am on Wednesday, October 31.
South Yorkshire Police said the death was not being treated as suspicious and the fire service confirmed the blaze was “deliberate but not suspicious”.
An inquest is yet to be opened.
