SIR Kevin Barron insisted he was as hungry as ever as MP after retaining Rother Valley.
He said: "Thanks to the voters of Rother Valley. It's a great privilege to serve them for over 32 years and hopefully for a few years to come.
"I'm disappointed with whats's happening nationally [with Labour] but I will remain a voice for the people in Rother Valley who don't have a voice.
"I will stand up for them, come what may, whether it's against governments or other organisations."
