E-fit released after attempted robbery

A WOMAN was pinned against a wall during an attempted robbery.

The woman was walking in the Ochre Dike Walk area at around 9pm on Tuesday, March 1 when she was approached by a man.

He made inappropriate comments to her, before he followed her and pinned her to a wall.

He then demanded personal property but the woman was able to run away.

A police spokesman said she was not hurt in the incident but has been left “distressed and scared.”

Police have now released this e-fit image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

He is described as being between 24 and 30-years-old, around 5ft 7ins tall, and of slim build.

He was wearing black-rimmed square glasses and a navy blue anorak-style jacket with the hood up. He reportedly spoke with a local accent.
