Youths arrested but no charges in arson attacks

FOUR youths arrested after a spate of arson attacks in Maltby have been told they will not face charges.

The boys, aged 15 to 17, were bailed following three fires which left a trail of devastation in December.

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said they would face no further action but Chief Supt Jason Harwin added that the investigation was ongoing.

Anyone with information about the incidents — on Blyth Road, Millicent Square and Mortimer Road — is asked to call 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
