WANTED: Robber on the run from prison

POLICE are hunting this robber who has absconded from an open prison and have warned the public not to approach him.

Ricky-Lee Langford (30) went missing from Doncaster’s HMP Hatfield on December 30.

Langford is serving a seven-year sentence in relation to two robberies which occurred in 2011.

He is originally from Maltby and is known to frequent Maltby, Doncaster and Thurcroft.  

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “Numerous enquiries have already been carried out since Langford absconded and officers would like to ask anyone with information as to his whereabouts to contact them.

“It is believed Langford will seek to avoid arrest and could use violence, therefore if he is seen we would advise you not to approach him and to contact police.”
